Currently in the field of education, Entre Tribus is working together with the Fundación Mis Aldeas, an NGO based in Spain. Which aims to improve the quality of life of the most vulnerable communities in developing countries, mainly in the field of education. Likewise, it is also working in cooperation with the Missionary Sisters Queen of the Apostles (SRA) congregation. This entity has been working in the Republic of Uganda since 2006 in the promotion of women, health and education.
Currently our role is to support the development and field application of the “Bodewing School” project, a school for 233 children located in the suburbs of Masese, in the Jinja region, Uganda. The 233 minors are distributed in courses corresponding to “nursery” and “primary school” (equivalent to pre-kindergarten, kindergarten and basic). Starting in 2020, the first high school course was opened with the projection of completing all levels.
In terms of curricula, Entre Tribus will contribute to the development and improvement of the teaching staff, which is made up of local teachers and, therefore, volunteers will have to work alongside the local team in planning class content, educational techniques and evaluation systems, considering the local reality and needs on the ground. In addition to teaching classes at different levels.
