The education project takes place in Jinja, Uganda in collaboration with the NGO Enhace Humanity Uganda. This local NGO has a center for teenagers where young people are welcome every day to receive classes, develop character and skills, and most importantly, love and support from the entire team working on the ground. They offer school and extracurricular courses to young people in the area surrounding the community center, located in the town of Masese in Jinja. They provide meals, classes, and family support programs free of charge to students. In addition, foster homes, schools, and a center that helps these vulnerable young people are managed. They have support offices scattered throughout the country so that teenagers can approach them at any time they need help.
The role of the Entre Tribus Foundation is to collaborate by providing volunteers who help in the day-to-day operations of the Center, teaching classes to children and adolescents, and making the administration of the place more efficient. Volunteer work includes, among other things, teaching students, reviewing pedagogical planning, implementing new educational techniques, and developing evaluation systems, all considering the local reality and needs on the ground.
The adolescent center accommodates two groups of teenagers; those who cannot continue to pay for their school studies but plan to return. This group is given classes to keep up with their studies until sponsorship can be found to continue. And another group of teenagers who will not return to school, so foster homes and various classes are arranged for them to acquire skills to move forward.
At Enhance Humanity Uganda, they plan and support incredible projects that help change the lives of vulnerable children and young people from different regions of Uganda. These projects aim to improve the well-being of children, providing them with opportunities to learn and grow, and empowering them to make positive changes in their lives and communities.
